Subject: [nt] [u21] Election General Discusion
Low Election Turnout? Dev's are to blame...they could have made a little app that when you log in a popup will be shown that elections are running ...pick your candidate and vote....with a direct link to the election page...but that would be a user friendly interface and we don't want that in this game do we?

before i do this, i just want to make sure it's ok with the other candidates… but could i start getting friendlies fir the U21 ready for next season? As most other nations are already getting them sorted.
Now honestly no matter who ends up winning the elections should qualify us to the world cup. We have an easy group in my opinion and we should win it.
if you want my honest opinion i think where joint 2nd best in the NT group… but it's the perfect group to get our ranking up, with winnable games against higher ranking NT's, just my 2 pence.

Somebody is trying to cheat the elections.
I have checked the user number and the turn over of the elections... weird thing is that the user number has increased alarmingly in the last few days and its obvious that these are not real users they have been created just to vote for the elections.
Is it possible to see the votes when voting is finished?
Or is somebody checking that all these new teams are not just voting and then never log in?
New users that are definitely not real:

Team was renamed to daaaaaaa. 2012-09-14
Manager jjjjjj took control of the team. 2012-09-14
This is just a suspicion but all teams have been made at short intervals :
Lanesra9035 [3898] - last login : 93.6.*.*
LSV Eindhoven [4012] - last login: 93.6.*.*
Arsenal2012 [4015] - last login: 93.6.*.*
Marin F.C. [11353] - last login : 93.6.*.*
Mad bulldogs [11586] - last login : 93.6.*.*
NA United [3873] - last login: you guess... similar times he got teams...bla bla
plameiras [11417] - -------II-------same ...also look at joining date to all these teams...is anyone checking this? I only got to half of the league and it seams suspicious.
I am not saying all these are cheats but someone (admin) can check if there is a pattern in the voting of the new teams (not to talk about the fact that to avoid this cheat they should only be allowed to vote after the first season as they don't even know what is going on at the NT or U21 or being a new user they should concentrate more on learning what is sokker about and when they passed the tutorial they should be allowed to vote)
What can happen?
I can get 20 friends to join sokker just to vote and then bye bye... I win elections and its a cheat.
Can someone look into this? I think the users number raise is a bit suspicious!

I think that`s the ip address of the admin accepting the new teams, so nothing weird with the similar ip. Probably lots of them also at the same time of day as admins accept/denies new teams couple a times a week..
Maybe forestman can check it just to be sure?

I am away on business, and have 6 minutes and 4 seconds of my login connection left, so cannot do detailed analysis.
However, I agree that you should not jump to conclusions:
- the number of new users for england is pretty constant - we have seen no huge jump during elections you can look at england statistics to see this.
- you can only see the first 2 parts of IP address due to data protection for users - however sokker admins can review the full IP address, as well as other methods to determine if users are fake. I am a mod, so only see really obvious stuff, and no bells ringing.

Not many election speeches on the voting area this season I see. In what is likely to be a close election would have thought people would put something there as could be a difference maker to someone that does not read the forums.
Call me Mr Traditional - but I still believe England Sokker needs an English Coach
Loads to do to get the England squad on the front foot - but Tom is certainly the best candidate to get that happening (imho)
