Thought I'd stand again to show my enthusiasm for England
Would look to carry on as before (but with luck some better results)
1 - involve as many Managers as possible with the England NT scene
2 - get active on the boards to create interest in the NT matches
I thought Tom done a great job - but as the seasons results show - winning matches is not easy at NT level

In your previous tenure you failed to qualify for the WC, and led a further slide in the rankings for England. Having already had one go and failed, what could you do better a second time around?
Try & win more matches - based on my NT experience of last time
By winning matches the rankings would rise - also I was unlucky having very limited choice with the friendlies available (which also contributed to a lower ranking)
I started from scratch with the tactics & squad - so when I look back, I think I done OK (but could do better)

What have you done before, during, and after your last election to improve the user numbers and activity in England?
I never got round to replying to your baited post about experienced users doing more for England;
I have spent countless hours recruiting people on Hattrick, and was generally known as the go-to man for newbie help in my early II/III days because there were not many people around at that stage that had recently got out of IV, knew how to do it, and we're active on the forums willing to help people out.
I was often the first person to help with questions in Newbie England.
So before you go around spouting barnacles to "get people posting", have a think about what some of these people may have already offered to the game, then look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if you have offered anything close to that.
Good luck with your campaign.

England have been sliding down the continued to slide down the NT rankings for a long period.
16. Scotland (54 Users)
38. England (354 Users)
39. Ireland (53 Users)
48. Wales (22 Users)
Our last two games have been 6-0 defeats to Serbia & Scotland.
What would you do this season that previous manager haven't to turn around the decline?
What ranking do you think England could / should be under a top manager & do you think your able to achieve this?

"Done before - during & after my last election". Before & after - just played & enjoyed the game. During - I done my best setting up tactics & involving as many Managers within the NT scene (including active posting)
Your history of support is great - well done
Lastly - encouraging/prompting Managers to post more - I will carry on. An active & supportive forum is one of the key components to get both England NT & the U20's on the front foot, with everyone (well 50 Managers would do) pulling together
Thank you for your post & good luck wishes

1 - Try & win as many matches as possible, & choose friendlies very carefully. I also believe that the forum could & should be an active part of supporting our NT's - I would try & involve Managers as much as possible
2 - I believe we need to get back into the top 32 as our first aim. I believe I am capable of achieving that, with the 1 season's NT experience - I did learn a lot & would continue to do so
The main points you make - I fully agree with
1 - The decline with England has been there for a long time & needs to stop
2 - England doesn’t lack user numbers - but is lacking in other areas like working together, sharing experience/knowledge & supporting the Y/A's - U20's & NT with strategic training
Thanks for your questions Phil

If you have any more questions - I would be more than happy to answer them
I'm sure I recall you saying once that you would train English.
Therefore, why do you only have 1 English player, aged 29, in your team?

Don't remember saying that tbh (maybe a bit tipsey & forgot) - certainly would like to at some stage in the future.
Funds are so low - that beggars can't be choosers atm

It doesn't take much effort to at least train an English player even if not NT standard. How is your junior school coming along you opened 2 seasons ago?
