Well...it was a beautiful game until min 55 when both sides changed tactics...I learned from this a lot...like the fact that if you change tactics and in the initial tactic nr 9 was ST ...he must remain ST after the tactical change...the initial orders are not changed when changing tactics :))

The good thing is that I didn't learn it in the WC :)

I think with the first tactic played until the end we might have got a better result!

The final score is misleading...watch the game :)

A good thing to make such experiences playing friendly games^^ World Cup around the corner, will be exciting to follow the u21..

The full NT played Peru yesterday, the defensive display was rock-solid, offensively we struggled to create much against a very well organised team. A draw was fair and an acceptable result for us :)

Trilled with the result! our tactics worked...great scouting by Troy!!! we managed to evidence our few high form players by concentrating play on 1 side of the pitch and it worked!...lets hope we keep it up!

Our U21s were taken to the cleaners in the end. However, we gave them some really poor goals. The 2nd and 4th goals were particularly disappointing from my point of view. That being said, I actually thought offensively we were the better team in the first half. If we had finished some amazing chances we could have been leading by 2 or 3 at half-time (I would happily shoot Burgoin for he missed some unbelievable ones!?!). Yet, in the same position their guys simply didn't miss and that was the difference in the first half :-( That being said, I did think we were a little all over the place defensively at the same time though which was a concern. We changed tactics for the 2nd half and unfortunately that just seemed to play into our opponents hands.

Well, the good news after we get over the disappointment of being beaten is that if we can find a way to beat Australia in our next match that we will still qualify out of the group (and that's what it is about after all) so all still to play for :-)

We missed every single tackle in this game...and they scored from every single position possible while we missed a few 1 on 1's ...my tactical switch did not work (wish I kept the first tactic all game...the order came in at half time!).

It looks like its all in our next game vs Australia! I can still get us trough...

Damn! Guttered after the second half performance! Some players really got me white hairs! If you watch the match get your mind ready for it!
