I guess so, especially as we should win our next match just as easy too ...

Even better if not needed for next match and it clears a yellow or two aswell.

This achievement should not go overlooked. I really don't think it's the best U21 side we've had...could be wrong.

I think the team that qualified to get to the U21s was marginally better. I think the strongest U21 squad was probably the one that had Jacob Blue in it. A lot of those players are full NT now.

And we now have the chance to fix our group mistake...happy with the draw considering the other options ...we will not make the same mistakes twice...lets hope we get it right this time :)!

I saw some English player trainers make the following mistake:

They do not play a player that has played for the U21 or NT also in the league or friendly games in the same week.

I would like to remind you all this line from the rules:

If they play only in an international, they will receive around 50% of the normal training.

"Well today is our lucky day...we get the chance to write history boys!...and that is why we are here...so get out there and just make sure you score more then they do!"...said Qstarw to his team before the match...

Well...guttered ...red card...penalty...whatever!

Gutted we led twice and ultimately lost 3-2 :-( However, a red card, a penalty and an own goal didn't help matters much. So we didn't have much (any) luck ...

It's like that all the time with us...never get a piece of that cake due to lack of luck...however...the ME did the work...as did tactical discipline...2nd and 3rd goal was because our def did not keep the line correctly...it would have been offside.

Great performance nonetheless considering we took them to extra-time

You played well, have experienced the same end to the WC a few times so you have my deepest sympathy.

It's always a lottery once you get to the knockout stages. Slices of luck are just as important as getting the lineup and tactics right. Looks like a slight stamina edge on their side possibly was the deciding factor.
