Summerfield popped to formidable striker :)....training striker for the next 4 weeks and hopping for another pop.

After exactly 24 weeks of having him (1 and 1/2 seasons) he had 11 pops (15 with stamina). Not bad I should say...not bad!

Pity his form dropped or i would of 100% started him in tomorrows crunch game, if i loose or draw Summerfield plays every game from now on..

You must watch this game... we gave it everything but it's just a joke i mean come on how do they work these stupid senario's out? do you want me to have a heart attack? , well that's it bye bye to all then rubbish 21's.... basically we won that 4-1 in my book we owned them, it tests your nerve to the full and over but really after that game it's just insulting my intelligence

You have never played football for a team...or if you did...your coach did not teach you defending tactics: When the ball comes to our goal the defenders must run up to close the gaps and get the ball as fast as possible not back to the front of our goal. Your side defenders should never be behind your central defenders. The more your strikers run with the ball the less power they will have to shoot...give them the ball as close to the goal as possible and let the mids do the defensive work in the opposite field (not your strikers). Our mids cross the mid line only when the ball is 2/3 in the opposite field...so construction is 0...and they always get caught between plays not in the middle of it...either up front when they should defend or too defensive on the counter attack.

We did have our chances and lots of misses...and I think you ware unlucky but these are the things that I spotted when it comes to our tactics....I am not saying that this is the reason we lost... we lost because our strikers ware on vacation today.

Do not worry I don't think we had any chance of qualifying left even if you would have won this game. So its time to put this behind...learn...experiment...exploit the ME bugs in our favor and prepare for the next qualifying campaign.

If its any consolation...I think Al Maghrib U21 will be the surprise in our group and they will qualify to the WC.

Nothing lost tonight so no need to get angry... consider it all friendly from now on...BUILD!

I was a forward/Att mid/Winger (Sunday league Premiership) and a very fast 1 to start, then very technical (top passer) & played with passion as i dropped into midfield in my early 30's, i got pat's on the back of ex West Ham goal keeper for my tackling, passion & tactical nous.

We absolutly played them off the park espically 2nd half, has to be 1 of the best game's yet, if i made any mistakes the opposition made many more! i'm quite proud of the game we played, i was in hesterics at how i didnt score on numerous occasions!! i thought we were at least good for a 3-1 win, and i changed my defence because of you Q and then my attack because of you (for throw in's up top) so basically you are argueing with yourself because you told me to do that!! then you said don't push mids to near box..

i cant remember southend ever loosing like that, must be im good at defender with nigh on u21's with Southend ah cos no English players :)

I am not playing for points anymore that's it campaign over.

Dropping all the players that cannot make the main team only playing for the future now so we will loose all but 1 game, no more tearing hair out (not that i have much) right now we are a main team feeder, and will be for the forseeable future unless we get more users that all have junior schools with good coaches there.

It was so 1 sided, i remember thinking now how they gonna rig this and not let us win, our chances were more clear cut, we should of had a penalty there keeper seemed silly good, there chances went in when they hit the post, ours got saved cos there keeper faster ours both times hit post keeper couldnt get there (i swear thats about 10 goals our keeper has thrown away now, he must be 20 stone ;O) plus defence not quick enough to react anyway so not tactic but pace issues at the back, and they were the worst 21yo's alltime (there gone now so no more about them)

We did not loose because our strikers were on vacation! nonsense Q! If our strikers were on vacation who had the 19 shots (most good ones on target) eh?

Can i be bothered with next season all those friendlies to arrange, and it's so not worth all the agro and people thinking i'm crap and they no better.

Thanks Ncfc... my job now is too look after Cunliffe (weak stamina) & others that will make the main team which will include Qstarw's Summerfield (on for Cunliffe)

your job...... is still to win games no matter what, people have their say as i do. I think qstarw summed it up a bit and gave his opinion(nothing to do with his english!!!!) and yes certain formations seem to over rule others which is frustrating if you have the better players. In my opinion you are doing the best with the players you have and have been really unlucky with scores. the players you are bringing through are improving the u21,s and i hope you keep up the fantastic job you are doing bringing these players through. one day the scores and effort will follow. i hope others agree....

we were better as Al Maghrib, they haven't any attempt. they find only a little goal from faraway...

You are very unlucky. ahh not you..England under U21 NT is unlucky not in this season. in the last WCQ season was the situation the same...(we were in the same group too..)

With these potentials in England you should advance .I would be happy to take over u21 however I am already with Ireland who I want to advance to World Cup .Lore does a good job for England in the future I would like to represent England . But today I would like to meet the players from u21 and achive success with the first team .This is not an attack on your player but I think you did not use the potential of u21
