The English community voted for you (again) as their choice for Manager - not Q or anyone else - just YOU

Get on with the job as you have the backing of the English community - & ignore negative comments from others (it's just part of the job to have broad shoulders)

Everyone knows England U21's need time to get things right, with more Junior Schools being the solid foundation to build from

Stop being an angry man & enjoy the job - chat to the Managers who are sensible & prepared to help

I think that you are crossing the line of your "respect". I am not writing you to attack you but to let you that the results may be better from the current players that you have. Nothing is perfect. If I didn't want better results for England, then I wouldn't have trained the juniors. I am writing this for the last time, because I think you are behaving like a little child writing that Romanians and Polish cannot read or write in English. What do you think are am doing write now ? For your information I have voted for you. I won't be offended by you.

Hope you will finish this, and we will focus on building a strong team.
And my name is Piotr. Not Pitor.

Wow...guys I did not stand for Elections nor did I bring anyone to stand from Romania...I have nothing to do with the U21...I just train like all other users. I have a job that I enjoy at Canada and I can't see why I am put responsible for your failure.

You have failed...you are the weakest link...and I am not talking about tactics or results...I am talking about diplomacy. Good luck!

Qstarw has broke communication with the U21...can't stand racist!

Oh man. Way too easy

As I already chatted with you I hate victims.

You did a choice to lead the U21 and you're doing it. Things could be better or not, no worries, just enjoy your time as much as possible. You're not loosing respect, money, love, nothing.. It's a game.

You lead your life in every single seconds, never forget and if didnt forget it, stop be a victim.
And you don't realise you're acting like a victim, dont write nothing, just think about this speech.

You'll grew up in experience only if you stop to be a victim.

Don't you dare start accusing me of being a rascist now jesus i was merely saying they (meaning Piotr or Auriel) don't read it well or indeed write English well (but yup what does it matter if your all foriegn now i've gone, so i'll actually even take that back with apologies, bigger bloke here)

I'm about as left wing as they come.. all you have done is criticize me Q. and ? nor can i stand rascist's! (i was refering to auriel not logging in for many week after the last election so if you chose him we would have been mangerless when i said "the illusive auriel said he was mioving here but wouldnt of had a team for 6 weeks either but is back in romania anyway)

Do people think we can challenge better teams (Poland, Romania Italy etc they play 11 x unearthly talents abit lesser team plays about 6 x unearthlys we have 1 Cunliffe and he only just got to incredible pace recently so has been almost no good the whole time) with about 4 half good players a season we had many Outstanding (12) talents and proberly formidable in the U21's do they even realise that? you do realise these were the worst 21yo's on record no you don't pitor and auriel!

Piotr2901 i did NOT say all Romanians and Polish can't read or write English that would be a really stupid thing to say do you even comprehend what you have said? but obviously you are prooving again and again & again you can't understand or write decent enough English, Q has no problems i would have said but that is questionable after his last comment..& how dare you Piotr2901 calling me a child that's not in the rules tut tut smacky botty time ;) so that's disrespectful a liar and insulting why risk getting banned from 3rd in the premiership! @:)

We play against teams with all better talents! and we have very slow keepers, Just foreigners having ago so yup i will ignore them, that isnt being rascist it's a fact.

I must be a bit tasty at tactics to be top of the league with 23-19yo's!! :) gotta make you wonder why the England U21's are so bad, well you can only learn by being in the job!! like i now no, i was once a pitor or Auriel then i did the job myself did everything in my power and more and could'nt do it within 1.5 seasons and am totally uninterested in internationals after this experience.

To the rest who voted for me thanks. Peace & love to all!

Mansid has LeftForum (back to being a happy again :)

i'm interested in taking this job:) but only after world cup in next season;p

England needs a good quality English Manager to take on the U20's

Someone who can pick up the good work done by 'LeftForum' with developing our Junior Schools

It will be a long haul, & needs to be backed-up by a lot of 'logical' comms & activity to get the U20's competitive once again

England has several Managers who could fit the bill - some may not be interested in the job, but I'm sure several are

It's U21s, but no matter ;-)

I've said this once or twice. But, I think we simply need to decide what the purpose of our U21s is?
a) Is it to try and win an U21 tournament?
b) Is it to try and get players into the NT in future?

From my own point of view, which is possibly not shared by others. The current crop of U21s are frankly useless and with the low player numbers in England I can't see that changing much. I have a youth school open but have managed to contribute very few players for England. So with that in mind, I reckon the chances of a) are about as likely as me becoming an astronaut and flying to the moon!

Therefore, I would love us as a group to get the players trained for the purposes of getting into the NT instead. The problem with this is that our U21 players would then be packed with pace but likely not that much else as you are much better off training pace up as quickly as possible (because it trains quicker at younger ages).

This suggestion would never happen but in my view we need to try and maximise the limited resources at our disposal. No point in having 2 NTs not quite good enough to win. There's still no guarantee our senior NT would prosper but at least their competiveness could hopefully be maintained.

And i think you guys need to relax a bit;) imo mansid's explanation is bullshit... sorry but u21 coach has nothing to do with development of players, he's also not responsible for preparing players for senior NT... he just has no influence on this, if you will pretend he has and you will all be satisfied with the mansid's work, you will still be losing games with smaller countries. u21 coach's job is only to scout, pick players and tactic for the games and try to win them... simple. The rest is in charge of clubs. Ok, you can grumble on poor generation of players, on several other things but 4 points after 6 games? No way that it's only the matter of luck;)
2015-01-14 14:11:34
Quite a firm assessment, but I must say i agree.

This is not to say the efforts to try and get more people using the junior school and to train their players in a certain way should go unnoticed, but it's not your role, and actually you can't really change behaviour enough to make it more worthwhile than concentrating on winning games.
2015-01-14 21:11:50
Fwiw, I sold Keetley (defender) because he was miles behind the training curve in comparison with other defenders from other countries. I mean, he was seriously behind, never for one moment did I ever believe that he would make the U21 squad he were that bad!?! And what does our current U21 boss tell me the other day, that he's our BEST defender(!) ... you had to pick me up off the floor with laughing until the realisation kicked in that our U21 defenders must be pretty darn bad as a group :-(
2015-01-14 21:28:50
I've noticed things along those lines too. I've had a couple of players make it to the U21s who I am sure in the past wouldn't have even got close.

I think the next batch may be a bit better. I have 2 homegrown defenders, currently 18 that should be pretty useful. U21s are luck of the draw, and I would assume that mansid has scouted out all the players there are (with England as small as it is, shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours a season to go through every active team in England and look through their youth players). I do know that managers don't always pick the best teams, England's now best out and out defender (tm) picked up 8 caps at U21 level when I am sure he was better than others at U21 level too!
2015-01-14 21:33:37
The problem with that though is that when they've been sold abroad. If nobody is monitoring them (which I know they aren't) then there is always the possibility we have a gem or two every season possibly missing out.

I am ready to find new players, I will try to do that in the following weekend. For now I could be scouting u21 England but my ambition is to take the function of being a coach. I can't do that for the next two seasons, because I want to spend my time on Ireland to advance to World Cup.
