I Think your U21 did a great match vs Hungary last week and mansid should get some cred for a well done match! my "gut-feeling" tells me that you might win tonight vs Azərbaycan even though they are superior and a much better team

lady luck rues again :( against a nation with better talent i say that result was a plus but im sure the boo boys will find something negative to say again. unlucky mansid, great effort.

I looked for the word "unlucky" in the dictionary and online ...all I could find was a picture of Mansid. I liked the game however... I think this arrangement suits him. The funny thing is ...luck never seems to be on our side...same with me managing the U21... at Canada...I get lucky quite often... with 89th min goals to win the game :)

U21's played well - created loads of chances that our strikers failed to convert

Tactics looked spot on (Mansid done his job well) - just need to get our strikers taking their chances & we could have won this match with a comfortable scoreline

Hope Masid returns to the ENGLISH forum & gives his views on the match (negatives from Managers outside England not needed)

ok as from outside England I will, as Always be positive :)

with one superb MID injured and gone, Another MID injured at the beginning of the match and still create 9 shots vs a team that should be better and superior, but still just create 4 shots!!

All 9 shots from ATT-players and not a single one from a MID = Mansid has done his job and created a tactic were your players abilities and skills are used perfect. From GK, DEF, MID to ATT-players.
Then, missed chanses is a part of the game unfortunately :/
A draw yesterday is a good result IMO and England should be proud of the result, the U21-squad and Mansid!

Positive or constructive comments are always very welcome - you summed up the game ok

Basically - the striker/s missed loads of glorious chances to win the match

England U21's are under construction - we English Managers are very happy with that under Mansid's stewardship

Yes we should have won that last game again :( i don't no how Cunliffe (such a talented striker) could miss such a golden opportunity & our keeper did his usual and threw it in his own net practically :(

Lillicrap is'nt the same as yours, Lillicrap is 19yo and worth 280 000 yours is 20yo and worth 470 000 mine scores 48 yours 62, even if you ment he could be what he was last season still doubt it would be the same skills, nope i'll play him in a friendly and see how he plays, i no your only trying to help ;)

Lol your comment's Qstarw... but luck is luck so that has to change at some point, it better not change for a friendly only season... can we have our luck in qualifying and in the Cup itself please ;)

To be fair that has always been our problem with luck...we are off by 1 season...so we better have 2 seasons of no luck in a row if then we have the lucky one :))
