Troy can be a decent player by 22/23 if anyone can be bothered to train him..

Our current U21 boss should probably answer this, but on the face of it, I'd say that with appropriate training that this guy would definitely make it.

He needs striker the whole time and he may make it, he is currently the 3rd best striker in the DataBase.
or
He needs passing the whole time and he may make it, he's currently the 4th best mid in the DB.

Bare in mind 4 or 5 midfielders can be played but normally 2 and maybe 3 strikers

So yes he has a chance if you have some decent coaches?

However, due to injuries, form and stamina we always need a few more players than this in each position.

Yup, Just take a look at our number 1 keeper , bad form , low stamina, and I have to play him every World Cup match, there is no other keeper :(

* but also other 18yo's could come along and be better than his.... pushing his down a spot or 2

I will train him as a striker because this is what I train and hopefully will increase ASAP ,I have decent coach and I wanna improve on this .thanks for info and advice
