Subject: Internationals

If you have a player selected for an International match, are there any drawbacks? I mean, can he get injured and will he be unavailable for your own matches? Also, are there any benefits if a player gets selected by his country? Thanks.

Hello :) basically the main advantage to having a player in the national team is that they receive extra training. Think it's meant to be about 50% of a normal league game. So if your player plays with the same order you gave them in our team game that week, they will receive the additional training bonus.

But because the will be playing an extra game, they are exposed to the chance of being injured. But overall I think it should be a good ting to get your player into the national squad, espresso illy your own one as it shows pride, and shows your have one of the best players of that nation in your team :)

Just want to add to what daza said... Those players also have a much higher resale value compared to players of same calibre but without International status.

I have nobody anywhere near the International scene. However, I'm guessing I would have much more chance with getting somebody into the U21s. So what sort of skills would somebody need to get into the England U21s say? I'm currently training defending so approx. defender skills would be good? Fwiw, I doubt I will ever manage to achieve this ...

I've sent you an Sk mail :) you might be surprised with what skills players need to make the squad, they should be achievable to anyone with a good youth school and training plan ;)

also im sure it can increase your crowd size at home because you have an international sure i read that somewhere many moons ago
