Hey everyone, there are a couple of questions i've been meaning to ask for a while
1. Is there any advantage of playing at home in terms of your players performance?
2. In acsending order, how quickly do these skills train given the same conditions?
Pace
Defending
Technique
Passing
Playmaker

1. No, there is nothing that indicates home advantage in terms of players performance.
2.
doughnut_jimmy explained late in october:
• technique, passing, keeper, defender, playmaker and striker all train at the same speed.
• pace I think approximately 33% slower than the above.

The only thing I would add to point 1 is that tecnically you can have a home advantage now by setting your pitch size to suit your own team as opposed to the opponents. So if they played wingers you could narrow their pitch to remove the benefit, and vice versa if you had good wingers yourself. Minor point though.
oh i see thanks. the second point especially gives me some hope in terms of training. it seems to me as though the market doesnt favour low economy teams that tend to train young players for a season then sell them on.
i recently sold six players after increasing their pace 4-5 levels who i'd been training for the best part of a season and all i made was £1658.

in my eyes a good way to make money is to train up players that you can buy for near zero for a couple of seasons at least. This only works however if you are able to play them without damaging your teams progress.....

It's what I did when I started, did 2 season of pace and on 14 players what cost me about 200k for the lot, kept the 3/4 most talented ones when I started training mids and sold the others for about a 1mil profit (a lot of money for a newish team with a low standard of coaches)
