Subject: How many English Players do you have?

2013-04-26 08:55:48
I only have 2, but thats still 1 more than I have finns.. Both defenders. And it seems that they both are in NT atm.
2013-07-04 21:40:14
I'm now up to 13 English players and all are 22 or younger :-)

9 of which are defenders as I'm training Pace+Defending.

"Only" 9 more to go to fill up my squad completely ...
2013-07-05 09:25:49
I've now got 7. The highest number I've had in a long time.
2013-07-05 17:33:39
Still 22 out of 22 for me, although I have now bought 9 English players in the last 18 months for a total of about £25m.. Need my youth school to start producing..

My stars of the future. Hurley is coming along very nicely.

They are all going to get pace for at least 1 season.

Once I get rid of the 2 players on the transfer list, I will have 17/22 players of my squad being English. I've been at this number for quite awhile and will probably be for quite awhile longer yet as I simply don't have enough money to replace my 2 foreign midfielders or my 3 foreign forwards.

I'm on 8 out of 21 now. I sacked one today, another 2 of those are fillers really. The rest will be long term trainees i hope.

Nothing decent coming through my school though for a good few months :(
2013-10-03 17:06:20
Well, I've never had anything decent come out of my youth school ...

14/25 in mine. 5 of them are first teamers all from my junior squad.

It's a shame that not more of the teams higher up the league structure have followed the approach of our current Premiership champions, congrats again btw! (which just goes to show that you can win the league with English players) as then our NT would undoubtedly be much stronger.

I'm trying (17/22 being English - once forward sold) but my English players just aren't good for the NT right now. Maybe they will be if I ever get to the promised land of the top division ;-)

Regards,
Troy

The key Troy is a lot of luck. I doubt he would have that many if his school didn't produce them.

Thankfully my future is looking a little more English.
