So far, I've gone into most games this season half hoping to get something out of them. However, this week we are playing the top team in the division so I am already fearing the worst (considering we are the bottom team). That being said, we bought a Magical defender this week so I'm hoping he helps to keep the goal tally down as goal difference might come into play come the end of the season. At the end of the day, if we can keep pace with the team above us, as long as I can beat them next time out, I might yet survive ;-) Imo, games against the top team(s) aren't ultimately going to have an affect on my season I don't think. As they will also beat the team above me too.
Good luck to everybody else!
Regards,
Troy

Wish you lots of luck with your game tonight, hope you nick a point or three :-)
2-2 draw with phil. His standards really are slipping this season! Bit fortunate but just made use of better chances to get the point. May have ended up winning were it not for slight injury to key mid beforehand and slight injury to GK during match.
3 draws in the Prem. I was the only one to win, beating the bot.
What a strange season this is turning out to be.

2-0 loss for you TCD that's good work with such a team skill difference.
Keep smiling you will Deffo come good

I'm really frustrated with that game as we simply gifted them 2 goals with some hopeless play :-(
We had more shots 9-5 but my forwards couldn't score in a brothel so it wouldn't have mattered if that had been 999-5 !?!
How frustrating are midfielders, they kept passing backwards. Urgh, the other way guys please !?!
So all in all, there are some positives to take from that game and there are some areas where we need to work on. But, at least it were a mile better than my humiliation of last week :-)

I feel your frustration mate.. :( but please do hang in there..
No worries about that, I'm not about to quit ... like I said before, there are positives to take from that match. For starters, we out shot the team sitting on top of the league, basically 2 to 1 (9 shots to 5) and considering I was thrashed on the ratings again, that's a decent effort from my team imo. I just need to ask my strikers if they know the difference between football and Aussie rules football though ;-)
i lost 10-4, with southend scoring a really high % of their shots. not complaining about losing, but the scoreline seems harsh. does point out my need for a new keeper though...
I cant wait for next league match as I have made some tactical changes and I want to see how they turn out. Last match I drew in a game that I scored 1 goal in 14 shots (lots of hitting the post... that got me mad) but next match I am hopping to convert my chances more often and hopefully my defense (strong point atm) wont let any goals in. All my 3 CD and 1 WB (first team) popped in pace today as we had 9 total pops...good training week I would say.
