Subject: League matches 7/4

2013-04-08 07:23:15
Well, the good news is that even if I lose next week, my side already have enough to be playing a qualifier ;-) So we've avoided automatic relegation :-) That's great news!

Good luck for next week!

Btw, I've just been having a look at some potential qualifier opponents and all I will say is ... gulp!!!

Well done tcd!

I got completely thrashed by ermejo. I didn't even have a shot. Can't remember that ever happening to me in a league match. Ever.

To add insult to injury, his 'keeper scored their first goal from the spot. Was pretty funny, as for a few minutes after, his 'keeper ran around like a nutter!

Worth a watch.

ROTFLMAO :-)

I said the same...need to strengthen up if I want to have any chance :)
I hope to get promoted as I don't want to face you next season ...happy I got the games before your team became so strong :). If I don't get promoted next year you will be promotion competition for me :-)

a match full of injury and a red for your defender.

Lol, I haven't won my qualifier yet ;-)

i'm training 9 youngsters. by the end of this season, each of them will have at least Very good pace with majority on excellent and 2 on incredible. are these levels of pace enough for III as i was planning on training defender next season, but if needed i would train pace for at least half of next season, then defender for 1 and a half seasons.

so what do you guys think?

go on with my current plan of defender next season or train pace for half of next season?
2013-04-11 21:09:52
The training depends on the player's needs. Normally pace is trained at early stages because later on it's harder to train. So it depends on the player age and how you want to develop them...never mind the league.
I train pace for 2nd season now so I can't really tell you but that is my opinion.

my opinion

the age of your player for training is very crucial.
train passages is easy.
if they are back with speed, then you train your speed, because matters much

@ Behmen & Qstarw

thanks both of you. i know ultimately its i decision i'm gonna have to make. i'll see how the rest of this seasons go in terms of pops, then i'll make that decision.

thanks any way.

You can train 22 players in pace..... Pace is best trained when you have. Large number of players aged 26 and below

Tonight is the night...top table clash for qualifying match...did not have time for tactics but I hope one of the old ones will do. Good luck Tcd_uk tonight ...you might avoid relegation :)

the second big match of the sunday night, after the first of Phils_hotspurs - Maggica Roma
2013-04-14 21:30:51
Did it...first in my league :)) ...congrats also to tcd_uk for his 5-1 wiping.
I think he avoided even the qualifying match.
