Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

pace determines how quickly they can run
tech allows them to maximise their pace

I'm still not following.

Technique is partly the ability to run with the ball, a player with divine pace and tragic tech, would run slower with the ball than an unearthly/unearthly!

Now you have got me all confused. Run that by me again?

I think he's saying that technique defines how well you run, so even with all the pace in the world, if your running technique is similar to a flid, you'll never maximise it. I think.

right. so pace is how fast you go, technique covers tricky stuff like turning at speed and going in the right direction and PM is how quickly you get off the line.

Anyone got proof of this? Or is this just spouted barnacles?

It is all in the rules, right?
2007-11-15 15:24:35
Pace - effects the players top running speed with and without the ball. (*This impacts the speed a player runs after the ball, and speed of movement with the ball.)

PM - effects the speed at which a player makes decisions (*If your player’s playmaking skill is poor, he may start to look around for someone to pass to causing him to lose pace and therefore will be easier to tackle)

Tech - effects the speed of dribbling.
(*pace of dribbling; players with poor technical skills significantly lose pace whilst moving with the ball)

* from the rules
