cuz i got better def than that and i dont think they would fetch that much and they 2-3 yrs younger

but then if you got what you wanted then he aint overpriced

I have to have better defenders as I was burned last week, I could of waited a few weeks but then I could of lost all those games. He will get tech training and possibly defender training this season and therefore could be worth it

always hard to tell with them old folk... as you're unlikely to recoup your money... but 170k is hardly breaking the bank, and it buys you a decent player you can happily use for the next 3 or 4 seasons

Yep, that is what I was thinking, I put a bid in 10 minutes before, went offline and was a little surprised to get him!

I would guess that I can get my money back on him if I was to sell after the bonus's come in next year?

Even with at 31, will people not bid over 170k for a 40+ defender when they have just recieved a nice big bonus!!??

you will get your money back, unless his defending or something drops :)

i always forget... when do the drops kick in?

i know at 34, they start dropping like mad, but do skills drop before then (ignoring stamina)

Players can drop at age 28 already, perhaps even at 27, but I don't think so.
