Thats an interesting buy. He is certainly a better player now, but has less training potential than a younger player.

On the topic of average age, I just noted my average age is now only 20.08, getting nearer being under 20 again!
It's all a balancing act. Get players who aren't useless for the cup but are also leaving plenty of room for training improvements. Strength in depth can be key to the league and cup.
