Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-01-03 15:57:01
But the guy you have just listed has better pm,passing and pace!
2008-01-03 15:58:02
but is 2 years older
2008-01-03 16:01:02
He may be two years older but he is a better player!!! I would say at least 3 seasons worth of secondary training better, so therefore he is worth more than they guy you bought. But thats just my opinion of course......
2008-01-03 16:02:24
i know he's worth more but makes me think I could get my money back in a few seasons if needed and therefore less bad
2008-01-03 16:11:02
Oh, ok.I see your hopeful thinking now!!!!
2008-01-03 16:14:16
cheers jpk, anything I can hold onto now I am. I've got some 20 players observed so I might try and buy someone to make up for selling humphreys
2008-01-04 17:47:56
I was going to buy a def / mid trainee, to provide cover for my first team. Then I figured, well I'm not going to win anything this season, so I may aswell get a forward trainee in. I suppose if anyone gets injured, I can always play 3-4-3...

Diego Salvatierra, age: 21
value: 142 200 £, wage: 1 440 £
club: Dream Oleśnica, country: Perú
excellent form, very good tactical discipline

solid stamina, hopeless keeper
excellent pace, poor defender
formidable technique, adequate playmaker
poor passing, formidable striker

He cost a touch under 1.1 million, which is almost exactly what I had in the bank. Money burns a hole in my pockets.

Bargain, or slightly robbed ?
2008-01-04 17:54:09
bargain, obviously depends on what you are training and what his talent is.
2008-01-04 17:54:20
robbed
2008-01-04 17:55:06
i bought exact player with 20yo and 3.5w talent in school for 1.5m

edit:when prices were higher too

I've now moved onto technique, after getting fed up waiting for one player in particular to pop to formidable defender. It's weird, he'd pop like a mad thing in pace, but he's as slow as anything on defender. And my head coach is unearthly in both.
2008-01-04 17:57:25
how many weeks has it taken? I'd suggest you train pace as well if you want to make any money off this guy
2008-01-04 17:57:31
robbed by how much, edovann ?
2008-01-04 17:58:28
I agree pace would make a big difference, plus it would improve the rest of the trainees you have too.
2008-01-04 17:58:39
yep, probably a couple of pops, and then onto pace. his public notes suggest he's close to pops in all three, if the guy is true to his word then I could be lucky before he's 22 and get pops in all 3 skills.
2008-01-04 17:59:14
3X out 22yr old would sell for 2mil i'd expect
