Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide
thought so. I'll be doing 2 or 3 pops in that, and then some striker, my strikers could use some defender too, so he can have some of that before he gets too slow to train.
Cool, ta. :)

All the skills would increase the value, but tech and def the most on that player. Random pops are possible in pm / passing.
If you got his passing to brilliant+ that would surely pump up the value.
I know that probably wont be the best bet in making him a better player, but when some people see one high skill, they'll pay that little bit more.
My theory anyway.

Certainly seems to be the case. A divine def with tragic pace will sell for more than a solid def with solid pace.
I know that I am more likely to pay for roundedness in mids as it makes a massive diffference in your ability to change tactics
interesting points all, thanks. I tend to agree with kipper, although doughnut makes a good point too. I read somewhere that if you get outstanding passing on a player, then that makes them good enough for passes in from the wing, and my training requires that I train tech now, so I guess he's more likely to be brilliant in tech than passing by 23. I'm training up some strikers to sell them on in a couple of seasons to make money, would it be complete folly to train him as a striker for a season ?

Unless he plans on playing him in the hole just behind a couple of strikers it would be the last thing i'd train him in, except 'keeper.
He'd need a whole season's worth of STR training to be even semi useful in that position, too.

even if you get him to excellent striker is it worth it when you probably expect your strikers to have incredible+ to get past the magical goalie occasionally?
Mids with striker have got to have interesting possibilities but I doubt it will ever be economically rational to train it rather than add more passing

fair doos, that gives me a dilemma in a season or so, but i'll wait till then to solve it.
Well I did it - and I seriously doubt it was worth it.
If you had a guy with enough striker to get him up to over formidable then I'd say go for it - still throwing money away but fun and probably effective

Then I'll probably sell this bloke and get one better suited to that when it comes to training striker. Ta. :)
