Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-01-23 23:17:55
if you are new, you might not have too much choice:/ it´s a hard time, i seem to forget from time to time.

i guess the 16 yo are ok, if you are training pace to find out their talent and keep the talented as long term trainees. if that is not the plan, you might be doing something wrong:/

most 16yo's have unknown talent, so surely worth a stab? - imo true in the beginning of the season. talent of most of the 16 yo now sold, should be know or anything bigger than 5, so the seller keeps the info to himself ...

I've only got 2 and they are to do as you say. Train a bit in pace, check talent, probably sell.

Just fillers.
2008-01-23 23:21:52
so you did good imo. not waste much money, but also not too much to win.
2008-01-23 23:22:37
but its true. if i would be training pace i would pick up 16 yo's and see if they are talented. and if they arent just sack them :-)

it'll be a win if they are talented :)

They are simply to fill my pace training for a couple of weeks, and to get this topic back on track.

Take that comment back! :o(

I think as space fillers for Pace training 16 yr olds are ideal. ;)

Get the odd random and you could get a tidy profit. ;)

if you meant about you playing almost 1 year its erased already...sorry if you took it in a bad way.

but what you are doing is actually smart ;) i never thought about that. too bad my pace training finished last week.

Something i don't know then...most 16yo's have unknown talent, so surely worth a stab?

It won't stand up in court etc etc
2008-01-24 00:06:16
Your alright in court, its her dad you'll have a problem with!
2008-01-24 00:15:04
Is that too much of a difference? I don't think he'd like the difference!

4 week talent - £293 000

Victor Halsema, age: 19
value: 145 950 £, wage: 1 140 £
club: Green Mile Old Timers, country: Nederland
divine form, unsatisfactory tactical discipline

poor stamina, poor keeper
excellent pace, excellent defender
weak technique, very good playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, good striker

A bit older than I usually go for ... (waits for comment from RedJim) ... but should do ok with a bit of tech and passing training. Bargain or Robbed?
