Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-02-03 10:39:03
thats a great buy for that price you cant go wrong.
2008-02-03 16:51:52
And now for the robbed blind like a dribbling loony

6 million.

Victor Fernández, age: 17
value: 91 950 £, wage: 1 155 £
club: Diamond Sharks, country: Bolivia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, hopeless keeper
good pace, very good defender
good technique, excellent playmaker
solid passing, tragic striker

And a change of mind as I'm enjoying finding young players, training is going to be fun again.

Well, i'd say robbed but money is really no object for you, is it?

If he's talented, he might well be worth that much in about 4 seasons though!
2008-02-03 16:59:37
Your right, money isn't important to me, I kept 9 players who are worth about as much as I sold the rest of the team for. I'm going to spunk it all but I'm going to have fun on Sokker again :), tracking 4 more decent ones. Besides I think he'll be talented.

extraordinary players have their prices and victor will be a stud in 3 seasons time and a real monster at the age of 25;-)

imho those top-trainees don´t fit into categories like bargain or robbed, it´s just soooo much fun to have one of those ...
2008-02-03 18:26:48
Do you know his talent? I assume it can't be higher than 4 week YP talent, but it could be lower?
2008-02-03 18:29:31
if the bidding was no where near that price, you were robbed.

but if you were being outbid to 6mill then its ok :)
2008-02-03 18:33:01
There were others in at over 5 million, up to 5.4 million before I got bored and stuck the 6 million on.
2008-02-03 18:39:51
cool! he is a really nice player and will be fun to train :)

i bet his previous owner will fall off his chair when he checks his economy ;)
2008-02-03 19:12:31
I wonder how many players have had a NT match as their first ever game :)

Crikey pilot, have you made it your mission to win Bolivia the World Cup ? I reckon if, sorry when, you train that bloke right, you might get begging letters asking you to be their NT coach !

LOL, I better watch out, those South Americans can get a bit firey if things dont go so well!!

He's playing on Wednesday so I'll just be praying he never gets crocked.

Lech Oleszkiewicz , age 20
value: 236 700 £, wage: 2 415 £
brilliant form

average stamina,
solid pace,
good technique,
good passing,
tragic keeper
magical defender
adequate playmaker
poor striker

£1.6m; I think that was a bit bargainous.
2008-02-04 18:27:03
Oi you nutter, you have a friendly to accept/set-up with Portugal!

Bargainous, by the way.
2008-02-04 18:32:31
