Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

do you reckon it is a good price not considering his poor talent? i was thinking with 1 level of pace and 1 of tech he could go for a million or so to a pace trainer
2008-03-07 09:10:01
With that level of pace and tech I dont think it will make a great deal of difference. His pace would need to be at solid and his tech at very good to get £1m I would have thought. And if he isnt that talented that would take a while, so I would off load him now.
2008-03-07 10:46:31
Well, I figured that if I can get 2 tech pops out of him, he might sell for more.

A new pace trainee for me, cost 580 001 $, was a brilliant YP with 4 week talent:

Slobodan Baždarević, age: 19
value: 103 050 £, wage: 1 320 £
club: N.K.Gomila, country: Bosna i Hercegovina
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina, hopeless keeper
hopeless pace, excellent defender
excellent technique, excellent playmaker
weak passing, weak striker

B or R?

Bargain, and had I seen him I would have bid against you!
2008-03-08 20:48:36
Mega bargain i would say.
2008-03-08 20:49:51
Well, I was half expecting to have competition, but none came!

Pretty chuffed with that little buy.
2008-03-08 20:51:40
I guess it's because he needs quite a bit of pace and passing training to be decent.

But as i know you are a patient pace trainer, you are going to reap the rewards for him.
2008-03-08 20:54:05
Ye, well it would be even better if I had any plans to train passing in the future. As it is, I think I will settle for training his pace up until all the other skills have random popped and then selling for a big profit.

always get the bargains you do :P
2008-03-09 14:31:52
I'm patient and have been buying only pace trainees for a long while now, so I know the market well.

Unearthly +1, 3.8 talent, 1.6 million.

Arthur Delanoy, age: 18
value: 118 800 £, wage: 1 335 £
club: Diamond Sharks, country: België
formidable form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, poor keeper
very good pace, solid defender
adequate technique, excellent playmaker
poor passing, very good striker
2008-03-09 19:09:38
what are you training?
2008-03-09 19:11:02
Pace then passing then technique. Probably the most talented player I've bought so far!

A bit robbed I would say, I feel I have seen similar players sell for less than that.

I'm sure you will make money on him when you sell in the future though!
