open your eyes seriously! you could of got this coach for 2k ideal assistant get 3 of these in your talking nice assistants for div4 and only 7k a week!

then pick what you want to train! i mean all season not just a week here and there as a newbie you can't afford coaches like us and can't keep switching training. So if you train pace just get an unearthly skill in pace as high level as you can afford!
with as high stamina as you can afford to but not always that important! but incredible/brilliant in stamina will give you pops.

defiantly not mate its not worth being picky! with players just buy one player which will make a difference in your squad and will make a handy profit

I spent a few grand each on Ruiz and Stolarcyk when I started the game. Less than £7k for the pair. They were both 17 and now I'm about to sell them both for ~£6m in total, 9 seasons later... All it takes is a bit of patience...

Coming up foe 6 seasons of training for this dude, but he is now worth much more than the 2k....

Yep, i'm not saying buy £2 players, but to fill gaps or to pace train in your first season it's not an awful idea.

What i'm disagreeing with Daleg is blowing your wad on 1/2 signings! Madness in my opinion, and you definately won't be able to afford those coaches!

don't start guys we know half these guys are not patient so don't give them any ideas.

these players they are buying are useless and making a mockery out of the Bargain or Robbed thread

those coaches are affordable by far!

I totally digress. If Redjim posted his 17yo he bought for £7k with the skills he was then would you say robbed?

There is even a thread somewhere regarding best £2 signings. Some are worth millions!

thats the point there is no such thing as a bargain or robbed at that level!

redjim came when no one else was here basically! so had no competition to get to div3

now teams need to get to div 3 as soon as possible! and 2 pound signings are not going to get you there

My player is worth millions and cost me 2k, the thing is though is that you couldn't buy an identical 17 year old now for anything less than 100k I would reckon.

I think the main thing is patience, thats the thing players who've done that have progressed on, just look at wdp or some others

Aye, patience is certainly the key, training long term and always planning for the future is key.

exactly, buy players who fit your plans i.e. need tech and passing. then sell and move on etc.
