Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-03-11 22:39:12
Ye, I wasn't meaning to be harsh, just suggesting that your valuation isn't always going to be what a player is worth / will sell for.

Aye, I will be training his pace. He is near a tech pop according to his owner and about 1/3 of the way towards a striker pop too. I will bump his pace a few levels then when his tech and striker have random popped may think about selling him on.

His talent is very nice too which is a bonus.

he is 21 there is lots of possibilities, especially with random pops
2008-03-11 22:47:18
Ok, I haven't got this program so I am trying to work out exactly what this all means....

Tech Pops

I think this means that his pace popped from very good to excellent in 2 weeks and then to formidable in 3 weeks, is that correct?

Also what is everything else going on in the screen shot?!
2008-03-11 22:48:59
Yeah, thats what it looks like to me.
2008-03-11 22:50:01
yes, that's what it means
Sokkerviewer

Ok, so out of curiosity what does the other rows mean from left to right?
2008-03-11 22:53:47
you have got a very good player there, a bit like Fernando Torres, he is worth every penny

(btw am not a Liverpool fan, am a Torres fan)

on my version they read
date, value, wage, age, form, stam, pace, tech, pass, keep, def, pm, striker, dis, exp, twrk, formation trained and training type
(edited)

Ok thanks for that, it would mean that at the start there was 3 weeks when the team was training striker, but he was playing in midfield.

Seems crazy when I look at that now, but perhaps at the time he had better trainees.

doesn't make massive sense

mind you, SV can get the training wrong - if you change the settings before you upload

Don't think it has got it wrong in this case, with the speed his tech popped I would say that there would certainly have been a striker pop in that period had he been receiving full training.

£675k, doing def this season followed by 2 seasons of pace. Bargain or robbed?

Seweryn Pyk, age: 18
value: 56 250 £, wage: 720 £
club: AFC Bramford Lane, country: Polska
formidable form, hopeless tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina, tragic keeper
weak pace, excellent defender
adequate technique, good playmaker
average passing, poor striker

Talent?
2008-03-12 22:43:41
Talent dependent probably, and being that good at that age, I'd think he is talented.
