Re: throws: in my experience this is entirely down to the players' positioning in your tactic and unrelated to playmaking skill. The player taking the throw will always throw it
to a player forward of him unless there is no forward player or that player is too far away to realistically reach, in which case the throw is sideways or backwards, depending on where the next nearest and most forward player is to the one taking the throw.

Don't believe i did say that! think you mis read what i said. When a player receives the throw then whacks it in the box its called a free throw.

You said: aye i have noticed if attacking mids have alright playmaking then from a free throw they always aim it at someone in the box.

My point is that the choice of receiving player that any player taking the throw aims the ball at from a throw-in depends on all of the players' positioning in your tactic rather than having anything to do with playmaking skill.

i don't mean aiming it at anyone from a throw. It has absolutely nothing to do with the person taking the throw and the person who will receive it is not in the box.

i mean the person who receives the throw instantly whacks it in the box i.e free throw .

I think that they only do that when all the players on their team are too far away for them to realistically reach for the throw - in which case they just lump it.

Throw-ins:

Minute 9; Player receives the ball, runs, then passes along the ground to striker(goal)
Minute 12; immediate cross
Minute 21; runs a couple of yards before crossing into the area
Minute 44; thrown centrally, passes along the ground into box
Minute 49; receives ball, runs a few yards, passes along the ground to strikers feet outside the area.
Minute 52, player recieves ball, passes back to taker, and back to reciever, ball passed forward(taken from own half, into oppo's half)
Minute 54; receives ball, turns, crosses.(Note every player close to him was in the box)
Minute 62; receives ball, turns, tackled.
Minute 65; receives ball, waits, crosses, goal.
Minute 90, receives ball, tackled.
