Aye, 2 weeks will help, but he's always going to be lagging behind the rest of them even if he pops to weak or average over the close season.

And then the next off-season? ;o) i think if you do that inbetween 2-3 seasons of pace you could perhaps double your money.

Probably 1-2 seasons, it depends on how long my older soon-to-be-sold players take to pop. I think with incredible pace, if he's still 23 or just gone 24, he'd fetch about £2.5m once advertised long enough.

Yep, I totally agree there is money to be made on him, but in terms of performances for you, he may be a little frustrating at times.

My reserves lack pace, but their biggest problem for me is their general lack of stamina. It can be shocking seeing just how poor some of the second half displays are when my reserves are knackered!

Yeah, stamina is under-rated on trainees as it's such a pain to train it. I bought a 23 y/o defender for my first team with average stamina and it's proven to be a real bind having to sub him throughout the season; and it's irritating to contemplate the 2-3 seasons it will take to sort his stamina out, by which point I'll be ready to sell him :-/ Still, I'm essentially a miser, and will continue to buy players who're going cheap even if they have rubbish stamina.

In my opinion, thats a little too high. I don't like paying too much for strikers though, and generally feel they are over-priced, so perhaps I'm not the one to be asking on this ;-)

I paid 3.3m for a 23yo with one level less striker and tech. Robbed I would say.

That was a bit of a bargain for you, but I do agree, NCN over-payed a little I would say.

he's extremely close to incredible, so I guess brilliant by mid / end of next season ?

I also pulled this fella last week, he's a 4 week popper in YS...

weak stamina, average keeper
average pace, weak defender
solid technique, adequate playmaker
weak passing, solid striker

So he'd probably get up to outstanding striker in that period.
