cool, then onto what?
2008-05-05 23:41:47
well, ideally pace - i might even do pace for a few weeks first, as I have players getting close to 24 who are also close to popping in pace.
2008-05-05 23:45:06

2008-05-05 23:48:58

47k Bargain or Robbed? I am training pace at the moment. Hes a fresh pull, talent unknown.....

Yorrit Peeters, age: 19
value: 49 200 £, wage: 705 £
club: fc biebau, country: België
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina, tragic keeper
unsatisfactory pace, excellent defender
poor technique, good playmaker
adequate passing, hopeless strik

sort of bargain in that he was cheap, but he needs a lot of work to get half decent...
2008-05-06 11:37:41
Cheers, he will not be around a huge amount of time I doubt......not sure what I am doing at the moment really. lol
2008-05-06 11:38:44
me neither to be honest.

on the bright side its silly season in the trf market in a few weeks time, so a good chance of profit on this sort of player... not a decent profit, but enough to cover salary plus a little beer money

I am in a bit of a quandry of what to train right now, I want to train pace as some of my trainees need it badly, but one of them is getting on a bit and needs Technique. Two of my 18 yr olds have Brilliant Technique already but are low in Pace and Scoring......a dilema! lol

I do not want to be robbed on my 22 yr old as what happened to me earlier in the season hurt (I sold a 22 yr old for peanuts). :(

I am in a similar dilemna in that i had planned to train defender for a season next season as about half my squad need it...and bought in quite a few trainees that fit that training...but also the same sort of amount of players need pace, badly, and i don't want to leave it too late so have decided to go for a season of pace.

Could you do a season of pace and then sell/continue to train that player when he's 23/24?
