Cost me 5 000 003 $ I will be training his pace for a couple of seasons, and then selling when he has random popped in all the mid skills.

So, when he is aged 23 at around the end of the season, what you you reckon he will then be worth?

I figured there is still room for a decent profit, even if I did bid a little high for him now?

Still maybe a little overpaid, gonna be tight getting even just a little profit on him. After taking into account wages for next seasons training its gonna be a small profit at best.

Well, it all really depends on how much you think he would be worth aged 23 with those skills.

I would think it would be about 7 500 004 $ or at least that was the theory I was working towards when I bought him!

Alot depends on his random pops though doesnt it? He may fetch that price if he does look like that at 23, but if he doesnt random in a couple of areas you would be lucky to make your money back imo.

In two seasons, or 32 weeks general training from now I would certainly expect him to look like that, if he doesn't then I will have to just train him until early season when he is aged 24, but I don't think it will come to that.

The only issue would have been the passing that could potentially take a tad longer, but as the manager informs me he is +2 in passing training, there should be no trouble there.

By the way, I agree that I perhaps over-payed a little for his skills right now. I got sucked into a pretty brutal bid-war with some Spanish dude who had just sold half his team.

I regret it now, but its too late to go back on the decision, I can only make the best of it, and I still reckon there is some money to be made on him.

The real frustration came this morning as I just saw an ideal DEF pace trainee I would have wanted to buy sell for less than I expected, and I had no funds to bid.

I figured he would be a great investment for me as he should turn into an awesome striker with random pops and my pace training.

I wouldn't say bargain. but he will make you some cash especially when he pops in tech and striker. I'd have liked the striker a level or 2 higher though

Well, I would have liked the striker a couple of levels higher too, but at age 19 I can't really have it all!

With the price, I was willing to pay a tad extra for his training potential. Its very possible that by age 21/22 he could be one VERY scary striker, and probably worth a shed load to a striker trainer.
