Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide
Last signing for the season:
Nereo Gerbelli, age: 17
club: AFC Denton Sharks, country: Italia
value: 19 650 £, wage: 465 £
tragic form, tragic tactical discipline
tragic stamina tragic keeper
weak pace hopeless defender
weak technique tragic playmaker
adequate passing solid striker
paid £12 000 and I only have £-113 415 left so its a massive amount of money. Bargain is that I was right to go out and spend this much on this player despite how much I have and Robbed is basically I was wrong to buy him.

bargain certainly and you will either way train stamina probably two weeks so it's not such a waste of time 23 days.
I agree with Solis he is a great player, bargain all day.
Thanks guys. Probably the best time to have a 23 day injury with no games for a while too :)

he's a shite keeper no matter how fast you make him
But he'll put the chances away, you've got to admit. And he's Danish, so the bacon expenditure decrease will pay for his wages.
Looks a decent buy to me, I think I'm right in saying he is about as good as Tristan Bird, but three years younger.
As you got him for about the same price you sold Bird for that would make it a bit of a bargain in my opinion at least.

Bird had humongous technique and was outstanding pace and brilliant defender.
I've got two 25 year old English NTs I'm levelling off next season; about 2 weeks passing training to go on Muschamp, after which I'm training pace and selling him, then regressing to top up Herbert's playmaking and technique before going back to pace and sticking with it. The long and the short is I need to replace all my mid to late 20 players with younger versions that can still play in the first team in the Prem, but will pop a bit more with pace training. I'm a bit worried though that I'm going to train pace for agest and still get very few pops with them.

I can almost guarantee that you will train pace for ages without very many pops, it is very slow at the highest levels, especially at higher ages.
Balls! I wont do it for much longer than a season then; my youngest player next season will be 20 (unless either of my potential pulls are decent enough to keep) and most are 23 or 24.
Its a trade off really, pace training allows you to have 22 trainees, but you will not be able to train any of them quite as well as you could if you were training another skill where the pops are quicker.
For me its worth it, but if you are concentrating on getting certain players on a long-term training regime it can't really work out...All players will need more than just pace.
