Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-06-19 08:35:20
bargain imo, hopeless playmaking lets him down big style as you'll find he'll kick loads into touch
2008-06-19 09:03:10
Yep he played rubbish last night, but hopefully I can take him to 2 x outstanding quickly and maybe upgrade him then when prices start becoming normal, defender prices are so high right now!!!

Seems a reasonable enough price for him, but as Kipper says, no PM is a pain and so is the tech.

I didn't buy that striker by the way, i hope to have around a million soon to spend on a striker, ideally i want tech to be the highest, followed by striker and then pace, which i will train and try and get a pop in.

Will have to just keep on hunting and hope i can afford to wait a few weeks when the market dies down a bit!

You will find that in III you will not necessarily need a really high striking skill, if you get someone like this.....

Oustanding Pace, Outstanding Technique and excellent Scoring

I think they will do a lot of damage against III defences, the trick will be getting to the ball first and with decent technique if they are far away from goal they will unlikely be caught.

same answer..

they seem pretty fresh pulls..

the 2nd is a NT prospect..isn't he?
2008-06-20 22:00:40
checked it.. they aren't so fresh..

it's an OK price.. not too good
2008-06-20 22:03:53
He may make it as an NT candidate after 2 or 3 seasons of training. I have no idea of talent or what they have been train ed in. I have been looking for 2 or 3 of these types of defenders for a season and a half, but prices for trainees are way too high now :( Still I have them now, and I have 2 or 3 players I need to sell and maybe I will have enough left for a decent striker.
2008-06-20 22:08:43
i don't know.. i see players go for high prices.. but i can't sell any of mine for those prices :(

Cost me 2 750 002 $ and will be receiving pace training. He is around a 4 week YP talent I think.
