Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-07-31 21:31:59
My last GK popped in pace at the age of 29.
2008-07-31 21:32:38
Bargain. I sold an older (although with 2 more levels of pace and passing) for near 900k, so a decent price and should get your money back on him if you sell him.
2008-07-31 21:34:20
Nice! Well i'm happy with him and there are very few decent keepers on the market so I think it was worth it overall.
2008-08-01 00:11:05
ken said you are robbed! and he will never pop in pace as he cursed him!
2008-08-01 15:52:47
after a season, this is the guy i got for 12k
Romaldas Blažonis , age 21
value: 103 500 £
wage: 900 £
divine form
bookings:
very good stamina tragic keeper
excellent pace weak defender
weak technique good playmaker
weak passing solid striker

pretty nice buy, u think?
2008-08-01 16:14:22
I think u got him cheap because he doesn't have very high defence or technique, which basicly makes a player defensive minded or attacking minded (in my experience)

I bought a similar player start of the season

I think that guy is a bargain! and I recommend training him in Technique to become a Striker! hope he's talented!
2008-08-01 20:01:15
I agree with that.
2008-08-01 20:59:55
Ken, you've probably doubled his value, and that's being generous.

Radosław Jeziorny, age: 18
club: villa stars, country: Polska
value: 68 550 £, wage: 1 050 £
poor form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina tragic keeper
solid pace excellent defender
adequate technique excellent playmaker
poor passing unsatisfactory striker

paid 600k for this player ... no idea of talent ... training tech
was i robbed...
2008-08-03 16:13:37
Bargain! Definately. Will be a very good mid, if talented. I bought a similar player, more tech but less pace, earlier in the season with a proven talent (3.5) for £1.5mil.

Just bought this guy for £704 001. No idea of talent but I think it's a pretty decent bargain (and perfect for my passing/pace training plan). Anyone agree?

Minervo Ruiz Fernández, age: 19
club: Green Mile Old Timers, country: España
value: 174 750 £, wage: 1 500 £
outstanding form, hopeless tactical discipline

weak stamina unsatisfactory keeper
poor pace outstanding defender
formidable technique excellent playmaker
unsatisfactory passing excellent striker
2008-08-03 16:45:57
Nice bargain if you train pace long enough.
robbed I think because he needs a couple of seasons training pace and a couple of seasons training passing but on 24 yo he can be a great one if properly trained
age: 17
club: villa stars, country: Polska
value: 46 200 £, wage: 675 £
solid form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina hopeless keeper
poor pace average defender
adequate technique excellent playmaker
weak passing average striker

just paid 33k for him .. tech training.. will sell when hes 18
2008-08-03 22:00:42
That's a fantastic bargain...
2008-08-04 19:26:40
Rodolfo May, age: 20

club: AFC Denton Sharks, country: Argentina
value: 53 250 £, wage: 735 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

adequate stamina tragic keeper
poor pace tragic defender
solid technique adequate playmaker
unsatisfactory passing very good striker

Signed for pace training, bought for 12k bargain or robbed?
2008-08-04 19:47:58
I would have said bargain, but I sold a 20yo for just 3.5k two weeks back - weak pace, good tech, solid striker, but much better secondaries - so maybe ok or slightly robbed (he is 20 after all)
