Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

Ken even Gibbage is still learning the game. ;)

And that example you gave would go out of your price range i would imagine, unless he is 24+.

I do understand your arguement Ken, because you can't afford all the skills. Just with that tech he will have virtually no shots on goal i would imagine unless perfectly placed.

Lies!

Ok some people pretend that they know it all. ;)

£918k, going to be replacing an older mid. Bargain or robbed? Bought for pace training.

Víctor José Peñalba, age: 20

club: Suburban F.C., country: España
value: 122 100 £, wage: 1 365 £
formidable form, unsatisfactory tactical discipline
bookings:
unsatisfactory stamina poor keeper
poor pace excellent defender
very good technique excellent playmaker
excellent passing unsatisfactory striker

If it makes a difference he is a very new (1 game only played) Brilliant YP with 4 week talent according to his player notes.

Big bargain imo from the prices I have seen. ;)
2008-10-02 19:23:31
I kept thinking that there would be a bidding war start on him at some point, but I only made the 1 bid on him and got him!!! All I need for him now is to random pop in everything over the next few weeks and I will be a very happy man!!!!
2008-10-02 19:31:17
It's not a bad price (don't forget he could have already randomed in that 1 game) but he is only going to have probably good pace at best by next season. If you get one or two randoms on the 'excellents' though then you'll make a little money.
2008-10-02 19:32:27
He will be getting trained for at least 3 seasons I would have thought, maybe more. I think he will be at very good/excellent pace by the end of next season (hopefully!!).
2008-10-02 20:01:33
I would be very suprised if he is not Solid pace by the end of this season.
2008-10-03 11:24:23
The table of stats on the pace training thread would suggest otherwise ;-)
2008-10-03 11:33:01
If he is talented then he should pop quickly from Average Pace....say

-/--/--/--/---/

I make that 15 weeks to Solid Pace which would be the end of the season? Thats is obviously assuming a quick pop to weak in say 2 weeks. I could be wrong but he should be Good + if he has talent which with his skills he should be very talented imo.
2008-10-03 11:40:49
Indeed i have taken the presumption his current pace level has no sublevel. I still think he will do well to get to solid. We'll see :-)

I bought a player again!! :P

Stanisław Szuszkiewicz, age: 16

club: AfterShock Club, country: Polska
value: 180 000 ₪, wage: 3 750 ₪
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

NTDB:
tragic stamina tragic keeper
poor pace tragic defender
average technique average playmaker
adequate passing tragic striker

663 668 $

Best winger for his age in SK imo..

Bargain or Robbed ?
2008-10-04 09:14:36
depends... talent must be unknown so could be good could be a total lemon
2008-10-04 09:15:53
Of course..if talented he can be a real star..
If not-you think i can lose money with him?
