Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2008-10-08 01:17:51
For a £3m mid, a little, yes.

For one of my mids - no. :(

Someone more experienced can undoubtedly clarify this better. My best passer, Garnham, is mid-level Incredible, and there's a noticable difference from Formidable. I think higher is desirable for wingers especially, and I long for the day when my crosses stop threatening the corner flags (it's getting closer...).

Oh well I am suitably depressed now, just hope that he helps the team. He has much better passing than my old winger so I hope he will.
2008-10-08 11:14:15
He does seem a bit pricey with that distribution, but he's still relatively young and will obviously improve your team. I've got £1.5m to spend and i'm finding it really difficult to find anyone i would spend the money on. I have the youngest squad in the league and might go for a stadium upgrade

Well this was my problem, I got good prices for all of my sales and had to spend that sort of money to get that guy. I had a long list of targets and watched as each one went higher and higher price wise. Hopefully he will improve and I can at least get my money back in the long run.

I think he maybe a little pricey but not too bad the only thing that annoys me is Alan Body only went for £700,000 more:-(

maybe 200k over but probably yes
2008-10-08 21:04:29
Prices for players are very inflated right now so thats probably about right. You have to be lucky at the moment to avoid a bidding war imo.
2008-10-08 21:15:58
Or sokker must go on downtimes more often to bring prices down.

2008-10-08 21:24:19
if you train tech for at least 2 seasons he will make you money
2008-10-08 21:24:48
Needs a lot of tech training but that looks an ok price if he is talented. ;)
2008-10-08 21:25:09
depends on talent, he will need loads of training...
