Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide
quite high price for this kind of a 24yo player..
I did say it was insane. The day after I missed out on a 20yo Columbian, 4.9 million, I ran out of cash at 4.6 million.

If you're pace training this season and you are keeping him to train the other skills then bargain.

Reasonable purchase, probably a small bargain, just needs pace ASAP really.
I would say a bit robbed..but 2 seasons of pace will bring you decent money :)

About right. On the face of it a bargain, but with crappy tech the rest is of much less use...
£2.3m; which I'm guessing is about normal price?

I set an alarm to wake up at 3am this morning and got into a bid-war (!); spending £3.1m on this guy:
Oscar Iguarán , age 23
value: 457 650 £
wage: 4 440 £
unearthly form
bookings:
formidable stamina unsatisfactory keeper
magical pace very good defender
excellent technique very good playmaker
weak passing outstanding striker
Barely hours later, on the Thursday training update, he triple popped:
Oscar Iguarán , age 23
value: 457 650 £
wage: 4 440 £
unearthly form
bookings:
formidable stamina unsatisfactory keeper
magical pace very good defender
formidable technique excellent playmaker
weak passing incredible striker
Which, although both amazing and delightful, means I'll sell him as the whole point of buying more strikers was to train striker for a few weeks to eak out those on high sub-levels. I'll never get him to brilliant otherwise!
Question is, am I going to get a fair whack more for him as he is (and therefore best to sell) or is it worth playing him elsewhere and bumping his pace later in the season?

Really funny
i think the first one is robbed
the 2nd also robbed..but now he is almost worth what you payed, after the pops.

I've seen similar go for £3.5m, so I'm reasonably optimistic.
Re: the defender, I agree; training pace I doubt I'll make much profit on him at all. The problem I find is wanting to have 11 players so as to train pace properly - therefore buying quite quickly after selling. That's a problem earlier in the season. I've signed similar players late in the season for ~£1.5m and they're the once who will make some money - they just don't seem to be around when I'm feeling impatient.
After my current squad shuffle I'm hoping to keep 22 players and a decent wedge in the bank, and just wait for bargains rather than buying after selling.
