Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

Slightly off topic question what I dont understand is that I sold my player Geoffrey Ram for 155 250 £ but I didnt recieve that amount, I recieved 149 040 £. Why is that? He was my player, I didnt transfer him from another club.

Placing a player up for sale involves a transfer fee that is a fraction of the starting price. After the transfer, the seller has to pay tax of 4% on the received price. If the player is not originally from your team and is aged 23 or under, then a further 5% of the received price will go to his original club.

You still pay a small percentage of fees even for original squad members I believe.

I hate taxes.

You and everybody else apart from the Tax man and the government. lol

1.7 mill I still feel slightly robbed, even though i have seen some players go for ridicoulous amounts.

I think thats an ok price personally for an NT member.

Amazing buy in my book, he is very very talented. I should know. You wont get any better buy than that. Update me when he improves ;)

i was willing to go to 2mill really. i honestly don't know what to do with the money :S a few season's ago i would of blown it on one player :P im looking for buys that can advance quick and make me a fair amount of money in the future, but im also looking at saving a bit. so when i sell that 17yo greece player i bought i will have a nice stockpile of cash again.

Well use it wisely now and you can make a lot of money early next season imo....what are you training?

yeah i will update, he is only getting pace though. when he randoms in tech and striking he will be sold again. For once im looking out for the team and not just a few player's. Something woppa told me a long while ago, i just chose not to listen :(

Then imo buy as many talented youngsters as you can....train them in pace and if you are switching training next season sell them on when the prices are silly still. As long as you have the trainees you need already its a win win situation. ;)

aye! i still think this could be a buy of the century :P striker level really low but if he has talent then he will sell very well next season :)
