Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2009-01-31 11:26:30
Tough to tell... I have no experience buying players at this level. He's pretty well rounded, and has a good few seasons left in him... Im going to say Bargain... just!

you'll get 4 seasons out of him before things go south if he's talented, and he must be to have that spread of skills. 300k per season, about 25k a week, i'd say so for a player that good. and you can always resell at 31 for 500k or so.

The idea is for him to be in the team for 2 seasons, this one and next.

That is when I finish training striker and will overhaul most of the team for longish term pace training for my striker trainees.

I think he should shield my defence fairly well......I was planning on buying an out and out winger but there wasn't really any on the market.....plus they were so expensive.

Oh and buying him means I have a million to spend on my stadium when the time is right.

Also the team that sold him is quitting so I am hoping that he maybe half trained in some things.

I think its a bargain, he will certainly do a very nice job in any position along the def line of mid line. Nice buy sir!

Nearly got him for 150k less as well.

Kirk Gammon, age: 18
club: real toms tits, country: England
value: 63 900 £, wage: 840 £
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina weak keeper
unsatisfactory pace unsatisfactory defender
adequate technique very good playmaker
very good passing average striker

he's a good buy, bargain i would say, exellent def mid or winger

i was after him as well but been told talent was 5.75 so i gave up, i believe his coach is low level so close to 5 i suppose, he's an ideal pace trainee otherwise and will make you good money

you got him cheap as well

loads will say r i think .. but how many people would sell him if they pulled him.. not me
2009-02-02 21:16:42
I know a lot wouldn't but how many D.IV or D.III teams have the coach set up to push a talented player to his potential. Not many I would think.

and what IV team would turn down 5.5m ? that is a ticket straight to III or even II
2009-02-02 22:25:20
I wouldn't have turned down £5.5m when i pulled Bensted, but i would now.

I don't think he has any intentions of ever selling him.
