They look pretty good to me, should at least get ya money back after a season of training, but should make a decent profit imo.
2009-02-25 20:31:58
Yeah I figured his price was a bit high, but I needed a mid so splashed the cash.
2009-02-25 20:32:13
And mine?
2009-02-25 20:33:08
slight bargain to normal!
2009-02-25 20:34:25
If talent is true i would say bargain!
2009-02-25 20:36:10
We don't do season training around here :P

I just spunked 400k on the coach skill select, For an unearthly junior coach. TBH i didn't even come close :( I now feel like a gambler addict!

James Midgley, age: 20
club: Goats Kidz, country: England
value: 194 100 £, wage: 1 770 £
brilliant form, unsatisfactory tactical discipline
injury: (slight injury)

average stamina tragic keeper
outstanding pace poor defender
adequate technique formidable playmaker
formidable passing adequate striker

£1.32 mil, his talent notes showed quite frequent pops, 3 weeks to excellent pace (whole pop) so not too shabby talent.

Good bargain!

JPK, as a note, this player sold tonight for £1.68m:

Santos Molano, age 23

formidable stamina, unsatisfactory keeper
excellent pace, excellent defender
incredible technique, excellent playmaker
very good passing, good striker

Slightly weaker, but much cheaper. And guess what, i had the winning bid of £1.6xm hours and hours before the deadline, and got robbed at the end by one pesky bid because i wasn't online. He would have been the perfect passing trainee for me :o(

It is almost impossible to get a bargain unless you are around at the auction end, very frustrating!

I don't think anybody answered you on your keeper...i think he's about normal price.

I got my MID in the end, he is slightly weaker than i wanted, but he can operate up front i suppose where i lack cover:

Mojmír Teichman, age: 23
club: Armitage Shanks, country: Slovensko
value: 225 300 £, wage: 2 235 £
brilliant form, weak tactical discipline

very good stamina hopeless keeper
outstanding pace adequate defender
excellent technique excellent playmaker
very good passing excellent striker

2 583 337 $ - bargain or robbed? If i get some quick randoms on him i will probably day trade him.
2009-02-26 20:34:10
Robbed by a bit.
2009-02-26 20:34:41
Poo, got so frustrated in the end though!
2009-02-26 20:36:34
Hes a decent enough sort of player but defence is a bit low with his tech too. ;)

Its not a big robbed imo......just a small one and I am sure you'll make money back on him.
2009-02-27 13:23:48
Bargain or robbed? Paid 98k, I think he's got potential, nice age.

Andrew Speakman, age 17
value: 40 350 £
wage: 705 £
weak form

average stamina hopeless keeper
poor pace hopeless defender
adequate technique excellent playmaker
unsatisfactory passing poor striker
2009-02-27 13:31:20
what do you intend to do with him?
2009-02-27 13:43:18
I've just switched my training plans from TECH to PACE.

Obviously looking for some random pops along the way too.

The idea is to train him for a couple of seasons and see then.

Basically trying to earn money via the transfer market eventually.
