Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2009-02-27 13:43:18
I've just switched my training plans from TECH to PACE.

Obviously looking for some random pops along the way too.

The idea is to train him for a couple of seasons and see then.

Basically trying to earn money via the transfer market eventually.

I fear you have paid extra for unnecessary PM on a poor/adequate/poor striker and get little benefit for it. Although he'll be worth more with pace added - it may not be very much more

Ok, thanks for the reply, appreciate your comments.

Diolindo Evora, age: 19 club: Carbrini United, country: Portugal

Marek Tuczek, age: 24
club: L.K.S. Grapa Trzebinia, country: Polska
value: 53 100 £, wage: 675 £
very good form, hopeless tactical discipline

solid stamina tragic keeper
unsatisfactory pace adequate defender
adequate technique good playmaker
solid passing good striker

Bought for the huuuuge sum of £2000, primarily to allow a defensive mid to drop back into defence.

And bizarrely I appear to be building a team where every outfield player has good+ striker - even my keeper has unsatisfactory!

A pretty poor buy mate if i'm honest. He'd have only been worth buying if 18 or 19 really.

if he's useful to your team then at 2k you can't have gone wrong

you'll tire of his slug like speed soon though

Right oh.

Down in IV he's Usain Bolt mind.

I started with about 1 and a half midfielders - and as a decent rounded one is megabucks I'm persevering with my striker training in the hope that I can make some cash from that, improve other positions and start over again. If I'm winning every game as it is there's no real need to splash the cash right now, and bidding for 18yr olds doesn't fit when I've no spare training slots.

Call me picky, but I'd have liked a bit more defender for that price. Having said that, I've spent more on far worse players.
