I think you are underestimating how long randoms take on skills that high at that age, and pace training! You are more experienced than me :-) what is he meant to be? If he's the mid you were after you could have saved a lot of cash by getting less def.

LOL!!! I wanted him and got too impatient to wait for another to come along who fitted the bill!!! Robbed by £500k? I can live with that ;)

I like my mids to have at least excellent def, so he fitted the bill perfectly imo. And I know how long a random takes at that higher level, but it is still possible for him to random in each main skill at least once in 2 and a bit seasons I think.
