Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2009-03-25 23:39:25
That doesn't mean anything surely? It's about normal, perhaps only very slightly robbed.

what you reckon for 80k?
2009-03-26 20:26:09
All I meant was that the original owner would surely have kept a talented trainee?
2009-03-26 20:34:07
Depend on who is this trainer
2009-03-26 20:35:51
I suppose so but if he was my Junior and talented I would have sold him straight away if I could not train him, or kept him if talented and I could train him.
2009-03-26 20:38:17
Since when has that ever been the case? You just sold one of your most talented players! ;-)

I could understand if he'd played 4 games or whatever and was then sold, but this guy has played loads, why would he keep an untalented trainee for so long?

Who did I sell? Certainly nobody I could train. :p

Pace training? or not training at all.. ? :P

But probably he should be talented

Hes a nice rounded player and if talented I think would be a bargain, but why would you sell a player like that if they were talented?
2009-03-26 21:05:39
There's something i'm not getting here, perhaps i need to reread the thread. You will fine countless examples of this in every country, i'm about to sell a talented player who's played several games. It's a strange logic to go on.

It was just an opinion, I said at the start if hes talented then hes a bargain, but I fear he may not be as possibly would have been kept by the owner. I hope for valraska that he is talented. He could certainly be a nice trainee if he is. You are about to sell Clubley as he will no longer fit in with your training plan if I am right?

Well, you advised me to continue training his passing, but he's rounded enough to be trained in anything now i think. I didn't get any other advice on what i should train him in.

He certainly looks an attractive proposition to a PM trainer now. ;)
