Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2009-07-11 20:22:43
You could indeed, if I picked up some talented 16 year olds & trained defender for a season I would expect to get to a high level (perhaps around outstanding-incredible).

If I was then to list these players at the end of the season while still aged 16 I would imagine most pace trainers would pay a big premium for them.

Looks a bargain to me. ;)
2009-07-11 20:25:55
I expect they would to be honest. ;)

If you managed to get 10 talented 16 yr olds at the end of this season and sell at the end of the 17 yr age I imagine you mean?
2009-07-11 20:29:37
No, I would want to buy them at the start of next season after the age updates.

Might be a bit tricky to find 16 year olds at the start of the season though, not many about!

Plus it would be a huge lottery as talent would be totally unknown.

It would indeed, its why there is some merit to doing two season cycles.

Buy a group of 16/17 year olds early in the season & train their pace for a season to guage talent. At the end of the season sell off the untalented guys & keep the best 10 for training the other skills.

Big bargain then imo.

good, the only problem I have is I am about to start 10 weeks of playmaking. reckon I can turn him into a quality midfielder?
2009-07-11 20:35:34
Pace training is ok for striker trainees I think, you can make a fair bit of cash after bumping the pace level for a few levels on very young players.

I think with luck he could be Incredible PM by then, and yes he'll be a great player in the future, tech will pop quickly with his talent too.

I have for every position
The good part is that most of them are from small nations.. so talnted players from small nations can get me nice money i reckon...
But i am training pace for only 4 weeks so i have only limited amount of 16yo i can get trained at that period

good, I am going back to midtraining and have bought players who fit into that.
