If you're going to pay a premium for 18yo's with those skills then you really need to know talent...unknown talent and it's robbed imo.

@ wd, he should take no longer than 3 weeks to very good and excellent pace at that age. If his talent is what you were told it's basically max.

Do you know the talent mate?
2009-07-31 14:23:26

Tricky one really, but robbed.

I thought it was close, seen players older with a bit of pace for going over a mil and as i'm training pace figerd he wud be worth over a mill in a season or so. Also playing 45 at 21 so could improve.
2009-08-01 10:16:42
I don't think you were robbed at all, he'll improve in pace and then become a nice striker, and you'll make money on him imo too.
2009-08-01 11:40:30
At most he will have "good/solid" pace come the end of next season, and in that time he is going to be one slow, frustrating player.

If he chooses to train pace for 2 seasons on him while having this frustration then he will make some profit, yes :o)
2009-08-01 12:51:26
Well he currently is only playing in my reserves till his pace pops to maybe very good/exerlent. Depending on if i get promoted. I have been training pace since i started the game n see no reason to change it so that's not a problem
