Not sure, he could be great in any position!

I have largely started to change my plans for next season and am thinking of training passing rather than defender, so he could fit in well with that.

That's what i'd do; passing. Make him a really nice all-round midfielder. They seem to be the money shots in a funny market at the moment.

Personally I would recommend that you should be considering looking at 17 year old trainees in order to help you generate more profit from your trainees.

can#'t afford them, a million a pop if you're lucky.

Assuming that you purchased the above player as a midfielder trainee, ask yourself what skills a 17 year old trainee would currently need in order to reach the same skills at age 18.

How much would these players sell for?

Could you perhaps afford even better 17 year olds with the money available?

2.6m proven 3.5 talent, bargain or robbed? I don't really care too much if I paid a little more than I needed to as I know he'll be a great player and will certainly be an U21 player. All part of my master plan to have 6 nice English striker trainees. :)
