Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

I'd be tempted just to concentrate on his passing, and try to get it up to formidable - but it's a team game. a decent price i'd say, you should make money with your training plan.

that's what i hoped... passing is the main aim for the team right now so hoping for a quick pop and then at least excellent by e.o. next season plus one level of tech or more. will actually be training passing/tech/pace for his 24yr old season too so should get to outstanding passing, incredible tech, unearthly pace min, and maybe a nice random in PM and DEF would make him a very nice little player. he will have to play 1st team this week... hopefully can do the job :-|

he's not great though as his pace and playmaking are so low that they negate the decent tech and passing. He will also be 22 in about 5 weeks so will take alot of time to reach decent pace

I doubt that that guy would stay at 2k ;-). It's just that I train pace and thought I'd need someone who can knock balls into my quick strikers.

Slightly off topic... I just tried to put my accidental defender purchase up for sale (see p485), but he wants another chance and refuses to go on the TL.

This is the first time this has happened to me, so...
1) do I try and list him every day until he accepts? (or does this make him more resistant to going?)
2) or do I play him in a certain number of matches then try and re-list him?

Basically, is there a knack to getting rid of these type of players quickly (short of sacking them)?

Couple of games normally does the trick i believe, although i have a feeling it can be a timed thing. I'm sure people have got to list them in the past at a later date without them playing games.

just let him play 5 mins as a sub until he had enough!

Looks like a good buy, I would say he is a bargain and will turn into a great defensive midfielder.

Seems a good bargain to me. The sort of player I'll be after soon no doubt.

Grr, looking for players close to that for some time now. This £2.5m is burning a hole in my pocket.

Buy a nice 17 yr old then. ;)

He's a bit pricey already imo.
