Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2009-11-23 23:17:01
Cheers buddy, that's what I like to hear
2009-11-23 23:24:26
You know the truth though. ;)

You have already won the league though and even if I have a weaker team than at the start of thr season I would like to try and avoid another 10-2 defeat.

Fair point.
2009-11-24 09:23:49
More than fair in my supporters perspective who seem to have nooses around their necks currently despite winning a Cup. :/

was watching and bidding for 3 different old midfielders to get a sub, and ended up paying 625 k for this bloke. oops...

Agu Tõnnov, age: 29

club: Norwich City Nil, country: Eesti
value: 330 450 £, wage: 5 250 £
weak form, good tactical discipline
bookings:
good stamina tragic keeper
outstanding pace unearthly defender
outstanding technique good playmaker
adequate passing weak striker

anyone know how badly form affects defenders ?
Pretty badly. I'd be quite worried about his stamina too. Probably a bit robbed.
oh well.
2009-11-24 17:32:42
Ahem you got badly robbed, not on price but you said you were after a midfielder! lol
2009-11-24 17:33:15
yeah - don't know what happened really. got blinded by the word unearthly i think. I could have got one of Woppas' old players too for the same price. Ah well.
(edited)
just wondering on your opinions for this guy? I paid 60k :S

Stany Biesmans, age: 21
club: The Humber Hawks, country: België
value: 81 750 £, wage: 915 £
incredible form, hopeless tactical discipline

solid stamina hopeless keeper
hopeless pace average defender
very good technique average playmaker
very good passing solid striker

I train pace btw.
it will take 2 or 3 seasons of pace to make him viable in my opinion. But if you don't mind waiting till he's 24 to make some cash, it's a good buy.
upon reflection was looking to train for maybe 1 - 1 and a half season get his pace to average. But now looking at him maybe not my greatest moment, think i may have got a little carried away with bidding. Think I saw something in him that wasn't there.
i know exactly how that feels :)
i wouldn't mind but only came on b'cos i was bored. was looking for ressie keeper if anything! Ah well still learning the game can only improve from here.
2009-11-24 23:32:24
Thats a good attitude. ;)

Do you have a mentor to help you?

Midfielder No.1 £2.2m B or R? Will get copious amounts of pace followed by more techniquery.

Carlos Armando Cifuentes, age: 21
value: 314 550 £, wage: 2 760 £
club: Longfield Tigers, country: Colombia
incredible form, poor tactical discipline

average stamina, hopeless keeper
excellent pace, weak defender
incredible technique, formidable playmaker
incredible passing, very good striker
