I think your guy is about right, the only problem I forsee is making your money back? Or is that not the plan....hes a fantastic player in any case. ;)

I paid 200k less than that for a 28 year olf with those skills at the start of the season, so I'd say about right.

£2, training pace, how good?

If hes talented then you have yourself a big bargain. If hes not talented then all you have wasted is £2. You seem to be on my line of thinking with regards to your pace trainees.....you cannot lose money as long as they are A) Cheap and B) Capable of improving - which yours clearly will in a seasons time he could be worth £100k or more. :)

You cannot possibly go wrong with players like that unless their talent is a disaster. With medium talent at lower levels you should get a nice amount of randoms and with the added pace you'll make money.
