no idea, but they're a damn sight better than the two they replace who had only concede the 4 in 3 games (inc the FA cup game at a div 2 club)

Damien Cranworth, age 19 value: 77 250 £
wage: 960 £
formidable form

hopeless stamina hopeless keeper
very good pace average defender
excellent technique unsatisfactory playmaker
average passing weak striker

Filip Slavchev , age 21 value: 43 050 £

tragic form
bookings:
average stamina hopeless keeper
good pace good defender
hopeless technique excellent playmaker
good passing hopeless striker

Slight bargain I reckon. Could of gone 1.5/6 mill maybe.

Not sure on those two - no price mentioned for the 2nd one either. Guessing I would say fair price on the first......
2009-12-28 20:12:49
Cool thanks, I hoped he was as I remember seeing a couple of similar players going last season for almost 1.8m. NCN got one I believe.

Well put it this way if you trained keepers you could make a very quick profit. Your talking magical/unearthly by this season or beginning of next.
2009-12-28 20:31:04
Yes I figured that, unfortunately its the only skill thats not going to be trained ever and also the only skill thats not Unearthly on my head coach. Hopefully I can achieve a random to Brilliant though.... :)

His pace should rise to a good level I hope.

Well I just watched a 20yo brilliant goalkeeper go for 1.8mill and he only had excellent pace, weak passing. So compared to that yours is a pretty good bargain.

2009-12-28 22:19:43
Cool thanks again. :)

club:Mushroomhead, country: Italia
value: 486 250 $, wage: 5 775 $
outstanding form, solid tactical discipline
height: 173 cm

formidable stamina tragic keeper
brilliant pace average defender
solid technique formidable playmaker
formidable passing weak striker

Age 31
Price - 612 000 $

B or R?

Hoping I didn't pay too much. and that his pace at least stays at brilliant for this season.

Looks an ok buy considering the time of season. ;)

You may get lucky and he might have just dropped.....you may then be even luckier and get a pop in an area...its more likely he will drop skills though imo. Sorry if thats bad news.
2009-12-28 22:37:30
If your coaches are ok then you will be fine for 2/3 seasons.

Its about 34 they start to drop rapidly.
2009-12-28 22:50:23
A lot depends on the talent too. ;)
2009-12-28 22:56:52
No idea mate, but I should imagine talent is minor compared to how good your coaches are?

I sold a 34yo defender this season and he never dropped in anything, but I would put that down to reasonable coaches.

I noticed shadow has a old striker who was 2xdivine and unearthly, I should imagine he is 2xmagical and brilliant now, that's at a guess. He started to drop rapidly at 35, so I guessed his unearthly coaches kept him through 34 safely.
2009-12-28 23:30:52
No idea, I did not get many drops in 31 yr olds so far though, I suspect you are right therefore and his signing should stay fairly close to what he is. ;)
2009-12-29 00:20:31
well I do not have unearthly coaches, but I do have 2 formidable assistants + 1 outstanding assistant atm.

As far as hoping for pops, he might get a defender pop since that is kinda low and that is what I'm training, I just hope he doesn't deteriorate so much so that I have to find another mid before I can sell off my trainees in order to afford decent/better mids Just started a whole new training plan of defenders with fresh 17yr olds. =)

I'm not sure what it is, but just prefer having YOUNG guys in my squad. For a time, I was selling off any guys who were 26 or older in all positions, not just where I was training. But I've slowly realized that I'll run myself broke if I keep doing that.

I should imagine it was based on reality.

Pro's start to lose there efficiency at 34+ the only exception being Romario he will still be scoring goals with his wheelchair lol
