You have roughly 5 weeks til he turns 18. Assuming you train pace these 5 weeks, he might get to weak pace. Really slow for an 18yo imo..

I have a plan, with my whole team as reserve aged players, when they get to 22-23, I choose the best eleven or so and sell the rest
with whatever money i have then, buy new trainees.

not if you only train pace it wont... at 23-24 players are getting too old to rain the other skills. so you need to sell them well before then unless you hqave players where all the other skills look good and then train pace. e.g. magical Pace + solid tech + excellent striker at 24 would fetch less than a player of formidable pace + soild tech + excellent striker at 22

Nay - im training pace for one, maybe one and a half seasons, then to either defence or striker.
