Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2007-04-29 18:13:05
You can say anything ken, makes me feel better. :o)

Based on skills, robbed, but due to being an NT player, it means his price will always be slightly inflated, so about right me thinks.

YAAA BARGAIN lol

If he is talented, bargain. If not, you'll struggle to get your money back, which was the scenario I had when doing the same with a Welsh player a while ago.
2007-04-29 18:32:38
didnt you ask how talented the player is
2007-04-29 18:34:01
check this player:

Tommy Delap, age: 16
value: 9 900 £, wage: 315 £
club: Legends UTD FC, country: Ireland
good form, tragic tactical discipline

weak stamina, tragic keeper
hopeless pace, average defender
poor technique, hopeless playmaker
poor passing, unsatisfactory striker

ok not much but told he is talented as a 4.5 week popper plus hope for Irish NT
I would say Bargain

as someone said before for 6k you can't go wrong, are you training defs??
2007-04-29 18:36:16
It's not always possible to know when they are original players.

Dear Mr Ken,

Thank you for your application, but I'm afraid that I think your past transfer record precludes you from commenting on 'bargain or robbed.' May I suggest that you try Channel 5, they have a similar show called 'skanked or shanked.' I wish you every success.

Yours sincerely,

Angus Deaton (not to be confused with the shamed tv presenter of a similar name)

Deayton.
2007-04-29 19:15:28
Hmm. Are you sure?
2007-04-29 19:16:05
Not 100%.

Either way, it was a good letter.
2007-04-29 19:16:10
pedant[whistle]
2007-04-29 19:16:54
Yes[glasses]

Does that work even though I don't have the required extension thingy?
2007-04-29 19:17:39
yes

He was very demanding when he dictated it for me to type out. And FYI it's a different Angus Deaton. He looks like Mr Bronson from Grange Hill and the standard of written English on the Sokker forums has made him very cross. Unfortunately my laptop has some kind of serious hard disk error, so I may not be able to help him put you all to rights for much longer.
