depends on how old he is?

[edit] Just looked ...at 19 you'll make money if trained for a few seasons. But he'll be a frustrating player to watch

Slightly off topic but...............

Keano....he expects too much from the players, doesn't allow them to express themselves, players are currently afraid to make mistakes. I believe that any player that doesn't match up to his standards on and off the pitch will not be tolerated. Almost a dictatorship!

I do like his press conferences and he installs discipline.

He keeps going back to Sunderland for players.........Darryl Murphy and Jack Colback are very good championship players but Tamas Priskin (Watford) what a shocker!!

I'm sure I will have a much better idea after next season.

I understand where you're coming from. That first para pretty much sums up his captaincy at United.

I think he has the makings of a good manager, but he needs to remember all players aren't the same as him.

We had much the same problem with Grant at Norwich - he'd plan everything down to the last detail, tell them exactly what to do, made them scared to screw up - which inevitably, meant that they stopped playing for him. We ended up getting relegated eventually as a result.

I think we're alright now but if you had stated this topic in February then I was very concerned about our championship future!

Your home form suggests a team pulling its punches, maybe trying to get the boss sacked even. That or quite a few of your first team were trying to win the pools, with all those draws. It doesn't look so bad now, but you were drawing nearly every home game earlier in the season.

good stamina tragic keeper
good pace adequate defender
solid technique unsatisfactory pm
weak passing excellent striker

20yo, 200k, how robbed with pace training? Personally, the defence skill is invaluable at IV levels.
2010-04-16 18:06:52
You got him then? :) i think it's OK obviously, you just need a bit of talent.
2010-04-16 18:26:38
Bargain, even with average talent profit should be ok with 3 more lvls pace.
2010-04-16 18:26:58
Yeah, no-one over-bid so you were right ;). With pace this season, and attack and defender (7 weeks each) for my plans, then should reach III, so I will enter with formid-incred strikers and excellent-oustanding defenders, I think I can last, so he is good for my plans :)
2010-04-16 18:28:22
Just sold my other trainee defmid, as his talent was awful (2 weeks and no pops from tragic pace), and got this one for 10k
