I've got 2 choices basically - grow money, or watch it disappear. Watching it disappear isn't getting me promoted. With formidable defender, I think I can sell at a better price next season. Maybe.

you would make A LOT more training his tech to formidable - then with luck he will also have popped in pace & def (maybe even pm & passing) and be worth some serious cash... defenders rarely go for huge sums

well, my other midfield trainees do need technique I suppose...

at 4 x formidable age 21 and a bit you will be able to make profit

Well, I would have bid on him if I hadn't tied up my funds elsewhere, but that's probably a good thing (for me :) ). About right I'd say, but I have no idea what's going on either, it's a mess out there.
